How do I receive a refund?


Frendliest Skillit does not automatically refund payments made for cancelled orders back to your payment provider. Funds from order cancellations are applied as a credit to your Available Revenue located within your user account. You can view your Available Revenue balance where the credit is applied by navigating to your Dashboard (Click Dashboard > Click Revenue).

A credit is applied to enable a quick and smooth way to purchase a new Skillit from a different Seller.  To use your credit, simply checkout as normal and click the payment option ‘Credit’

Receiving your funds Back
If you choose to no longer purchase a Skillit on Frendliest Skillit, you can submit a withdrawal request from your Dashboard (Click Dashboard > Click Revenue) to have your balance (refund) transferred to your account. Upon authentication of the refund, the refund process may take up to 7 business days to complete. If you have any difficulty kindly contact our Custom Support at [email protected] for further assistance. 

Alternatively credit/debit card refunds can be performed by our Customer Support team when available from the payment provider. If you wish to receive a credit/debit card refund kindly email our Refund Team at [email protected]


What happens if a Seller does not complete the Skillit

Within the built-in Skillit chat system there is a button that says 'Dispute'. If the seller has failed to respond or deliver the services you can press this button to raise a dispute. We will then step in and attempt to resolve the issue with the Seller. If we are unable to resolve the issue, you will win the dispute and receive a refund.  It is vital that you conduct all elements of the job within Skillit (transactions, communications, negotiations, sharing of samples, etc) so that we review any issues thoroughly and make the best decision. Any users who engage and communicate off the Skillit website will not be protected by our Terms of Service. For more information, see our Terms of Service located at the bottom of the web page.

What happens if I have recieved a completed Skillit but I am not happy with it?

Orders are not eligible to be cancelled based on the quality of service/materials delivered by the seller if the service was rendered as described in the Skillit page. However, there is an extensive review and rating system on Skillit. Buyers are encouraged to post reviews about Seller performance, quality of the product, and the overall experience, once the Skillit is complete. Who is eligible to be a Buyer?

Anyone can buy on Frendliest Skillit. You do not have to be Bermudian or located in Bermuda. Please note, some special stipulations apply to international users when requesting refunds. For more information, see our Terms of Service located at the bottom of the web page.

If I use your platform, will you control everything?

Nope! The beauty of Frendliest Skillit is that we only act as a trusted ‘behind the scenes’ middle man to provide security, control and insure personal, sensitive and banking information is not shared with unknown individuals. As a buyer, you are in full control to browse, purchase and get things done exactly how you want with the added benefit of communicating directly with sellers.

How do I delete my Account?

You may terminate your account at any time by emailing Customer Support ([email protected]), submitting a Support Ticket, or sending a written notice of termination to Frendliest Skillit Attn: Termination of Account, 14 Paynter Lane, Sandys, SB02, Bermuda. If you terminate your account during an active Skillit, any Skillit will be automatically cancelled and any refund due to the buyer or revenue due to the seller will depend upon the applicable cancellation policy.

How much does it cost?

It's free to join and use Frendliest Skillit. You only pay for the Skillits you purchase. Skillit prices are set by the Sellers

What Payment Options do I have?

We currently have 3 Payment Options

Debit and Credit Card: You can make card payments directly on Frendliest Skillit within the checkout process. We currently only accept VISA and MASTERCARD.

Bank Transfer: This option is only available for Local Bermuda Bank  Transfers. Using this option requires you to transfer the payment to our Bank Account manually after you have purchased a Skillit. Your Skillit will not begin until we receive the payment. However, if you wish, you can expedite the process by sending a copy of the bank transfer confirmation (e.g. Screenshot) to [email protected]Please include the details of the transaction highlighted in the email you will receive after checkout. 

Account Credit: If you have received a refund or have earned revenue using Skillit, you can puchare a Skillit with your available user account balance. To use your credit, simply checkout as normal and click the payment option ‘Credit’

Will your platforms be safe and secure?

We’ve taken steps to implement robust security measures from the development stage to the everyday operation of Frendliest Skillit. We won’t store any of your credit card information (that’s handled by our payment processor Authorized Net, the best in the business) and we will never share your sensitive personal information with anyone else. Although we can’t promise you, we will do all we can to secure our platforms and protect you.

What’s your privacy policy?

We will never share your information with any third party. Who is a third party? Well the first party is us, and the second party is you. So, a third party is anyone other than us and you. And you know, they probably have enough already. For more information, see our Privacy Policy located at the bottom of the web page.

How do I send large documents?

We apply limitations to the size of documents that can be uploaded to Skillit. Athough most items should be able to upload to Skillit, some larger files may not. However, this does not mean your purchased Skillit will be should be affected in any way. Kindly send your large documents to [email protected] highlighting the recipient's username & invoice number, and we will pass on the Skillit file on your behalf. If the item is too big for an email, kindly send it to us using WeTransfer

How can I manage my account and personal data?

If you would like to review, correct, update, suppress, delete or otherwise limit our use of your Personal Data that has been previously provided to us, you may update your information through your account profile settings. If for any reason you have a problem with accessing to, correcting or deleting any personal information that you have provided to us, please contact Customer Support ([email protected]) or submit a support ticket through 'My Support' and we will make reasonable efforts to update, correct or delete any such information for you – unless we have to keep that information for legitimate business, legal purposes or those applicable to the law.

You may request to confirm whether or not we are processing your personal data. You may be entitled to request copies of your personal information held by us. While a lot of the personal information you provide to us can be accessed in your account profile and dashboard, you may also be entitled to request copies of personal information you have provided to us in machine-readable format.
